With lockdown easing up, we’re once again allowed to go carp fishing. It’s been a real struggle for many, both mentally and physically, but here’s to the future and the return of the fisherman.
For me, the lockdown has been a doubly frustrating time. Not just because I couldn’t go out-out, but I couldn’t film, I couldn’t fish, the prospect of adventure seemed like a distant memory.
But hey, I’m back… and thanks to the rollout of vaccinations and the amazing resilience of the British public, the shackles have been removed and the adventure continues. I’ve got lots of new episodes planned and I’m super pleased to be able to share them with you once again.
This week we’re fishing the awesome Stanford Hall Fisheries in Ongar, Essex. We’ve been invited to fish for a couple of days by my good friend Ryan William and, boy, am I looking forward to being outside again with mother nature again. It’s the tail-end of winter so conditions aren’t the best and the fish aren’t giving themselves up easy, so this is gonna be a challenge.
Big thanks to:
Ryan Williams & Jamie Londors
