The Beastmaster XB is Shimano’s newly updated version of the Beastmaster XTA / XSA big pit reels. An excellent workhorse reel which is strong and durable. The 10000 size aluminum spool will hold 400m of 0.35mm line, making it the ideal reel for both the keen carp and surf angler.

The instant drag is smooth and reliable, along with 1+1 A-RB bearings and a gear ratio of 4,6:1, top that off with a line retrieve of 100 cm per reel handle turn and you get a true powerhouse reel that will stand strong.
