The Rig and Bait Clinic is always one of the highlights of the Carpin’ On Show, and this year the line-up is looking better than ever before.
As usual, Julian Cundiff and Mike Kavanagh will be on hand throughout the course of the weekend to talk rigs, while Joe Turnbull will be demonstrating how to make boilies from scratch. There will also be six half-hour talks on each day from big-name anglers, covering everything from big-fish tactics to bagging up on commercial day-ticket waters.
Top of the billing is none other than big-carp extraordinaire and PB Products consultant Dave Lane, who will be demonstrating the rigs and tactics that have seen him land seven different UK fifties. Dave Levy will be joined by Jay Cater to showcase the new RidgeMonkey end-tackle range, while Mark Wozencroft of Crafty Catcher will have some tips about how to keep catching all year round. Nash Tackle’s Alan Blair will be talking about the best methods to tempt an urban whacker, and Trakker’s Chris Holmes and Adam Reed will be demonstrating the new Pureflo system. Finally, Craig Mortimer and Karl White will be focusing on rigs, covering the ubiquitous Ronnie rig and the hinged multi-rig.
Carpin’ On will be held over the weekend of 11-12th March at the Five Lakes Crowne Plaza, near Colchester, Essex. Tickets can be purchased in advance from www.carpinon.co.uk.
