A work-party week on French big-fish venue Lac Serreire threw up a new complex record and personal best for Keith Williams in the form of the Grey Lady, weighing a staggering 81½lb.
Working during the day and fishing during the night, Keith caught six fish in total during the week from the Island swim, the next biggest weighing 53lb. Keith used the new Mainline Toasted Almond pop-ups soaked in Multi-Stim over two kilos of Hybrid boilies and Response pellets each night.
Venue owner Simon Mansbridge also managed to get his rods out during the work party and landed 14 fish in total, including four forties to 48lb and a 61-pounder. Simon fished from the Middle swim on the left bank and used the venue’s own Fen Spice boilies over pellets.
