After the recent stocking into Lake 2, it seems the Buckinghamshire venue is in the mood for new things as Lake 1 also received a batch of fish this week.
The fish came supplied from the well renowned Mark Simmonds, who, after many years of selective breeding has produced a wonderful batch of heavily scaled beauties. In total 22 new fish were introduced, of which twenty were over 20lb and the last two both weighed in at 32½lb. Most of the new stock consisted of heavily scaled mirrors, but a few commons were also added. By far the best looking was this 32½lb mirror.
