Andrew Ellis and his fish-farming business AE Fisheries have become the first people to make an official stocking of carp, tench and roach on the Isle of Man.
The island had previously been devoid of coarse fish, and it took a decade of meetings and discussions before this stocking became possible. The fish were taken to a new five-lake commercial fishery set within 15 acres of land.
Andrew said: “The owner has stuck at it and kept the faith, and I am proud to have been involved from the start.”
