We recently received an email from Helen Platt from Chesterfield, Derbyshire who wanted to highlight a fantastic gesture made to her by Keith Roberts of CPS Tackle in Atherstone.
Helen was unfortunately a victim of credit fraud; however her bank never spotted a fraudulent transaction of over £700 made at CPS Tackle. The bank offered no compensation, however Keith Roberts decided to refund Helen in full out of his own pocket, rather than making a lucrative sale. Helen told Carp-Talk: “I am so grateful for Mr Roberts’ compassion and so impressed that there are such good people out there. I would like all anglers everywhere to support his business.”
