This year’s Carpin’ On Show at Five Lakes is sure to leave a lasting impression on some visitors, as amongst the exhibitors will be tattoo artist Rob Theobald.
Rob has been tattooing for a number of years and will be set up in a make-shift tattoo parlour throughout the course of the weekend, offering his services to anyone who fancies getting inked up with any manner of design, fishing-related or otherwise.
Anybody looking to try their hand at match fishing will also have the opportunity to sign up to British Carp Angling Championships, as the Barlow family, who run the event, will be on hand all weekend to answer questions and provide an introduction to the country’s longest-running carp match competition.
The Shimano Casting Academy will once again be taking place at the Outdoor Casting Arena, where some of the top casters in the business, including the likes of Mike and Amanda Dagnall and James Young, will be providing expert tuition completely free of charge.
The Carpin’ On Show will be held at the Five Lakes Crowne Plaza, near Colchester, Essex, on the weekend of 11-12th March. One- and two-day tickets are available to buy in advance from www.carpinon.co.uk.
