This 42½lb mirror known as the Grey Lady was landed by Tim Swain from Pevensey, East Sussex, during a 48-hour session on Darenth Big Lake.
AK4-R boilies produced the big mirror at its best ever weight for the 45-year-old director, who was on his first ever session on the famous Kent syndicate water. Tim mounted a snowman hookbait on a size 6 Nash Fang Gaper hook, a 20lb Kryston Synx hooklink and a 3oz square pear lead, and fished with a PVA bag over 50 scattered free offerings on a gravel spot at 30 yards range.
