It was announced last week that Midlands-based tackle shop Fosters of Birmingham is now under new ownership after having been bought by Angling Direct.
Mark Foster revealed: “It has been very difficult to find the correct words to use for this press release, as we have been very fortunate to have some fantastic staff working for the company over the past 39 years, during which time we have forged some great friendships, and as such helped to create the fantastic family feel we have here at Fosters. We would like to wish the Angling Direct Fosters, the very best for the future, and we look forward to popping in now and then to keep in touch with everyone. We are sure that the family culture which we have within the business will continue under the new owners.”
