When it comes to famous UK carp, back in the 1990s, Bazil in Yateley North Lake was the king of them all.
The late-great mirror was caught at least 56 times over 40lb up until this capture by Pete Bond, which appeared in issue 311. Unfortunately, the fish is no longer with us, but this piece by Chris Ball makes for a great insight into its history.
