Emerging tackle company, Spotted Fin has waded into the market with an impressive coated hooklink.
At the core of FinSkin is a tightly woven Dyneema braid that offers very high abrasion resistance. This is then coated with a special SF-matt outer coating that allows it to sink with ease and remain virtually undetectable. The outer coating is easy to strip, but will not split when knotted, and no steaming is required to straighten the hooklink. There are two versions of this impressive hooklink material, Soft and Semi-Stiff.
The Soft version is very versatile and offers excellent properties for a wide variety of rigs. Its supple coating offers further abrasion resistance and helps minimise tangles whilst aiding presentation.
The Semi-Stiff version allows this hooklink to be used when making boom sections, pushing the rig away from the lead and giving it even better anti-tangle properties.
Both FinSkins are available in 15lb, 25lb, and 35lb breaking strains, with Gravel, Weed, Silt colour options. FinSkin is supplied on 20m spools, each retailing at £14.
