It has taken an awful long time for these items to come to fruition. It’s an idea that has been toing and froing for a while now, but the Nash Team is at last 100% happy with its latest creation.
When I first saw the Nash bankware at a trade show a few a few years ago they looked very different to this, but I am pleased to say they have evolved into a functional, understated range anyone would be proud to own and use.
The range comprises three lengths of bankstick and four pairs of buzz bars. All items are made to a very high specification using top quality materials throughout. The tubular carbon components feature a 1k outer weave that looks very neat and perfectly matches that used on the Scope rod blanks. All the points and fittings are machined from solid aluminium to ensure a long life and solid setup. I really like the addition of high density rubber compression washers with these items, as they ensure everything stays perfectly in place once you’ve fastened it all down. Subtle laser-etched Scope graphics finish the components off nicely.
The buzz bars are available in two- and three-rod versions in narrow and wide options, and retail between £29.99 and £41.99. The Banksticks feature collar compression locks with knurled grips for a secure streamlined setup. The inner extension of each bankstick features a machined flat to prevent twisting, and an additional point on the inner means it can be used on its own should you find you need a small diameter stick to penetrate really stubborn ground. There are three lengths available, 20cm, 30cm and 40cm, and they retail between £30.99 and £39.99 each.
All in all this range of bankware is very impressive and weighs next to nothing. A couple of matching Scope Black Ops Storm Poles would be a great addition to the range.
