The high performance thermoelectric cooler is a supped-up cool box that can be powered by both 12V and mains power, and offers four different modes for ultimate convenience and versatility. The reliable motor guarantees a cool interior that is 18 degrees lower than the ambient temperature. Max mode delivers full power for when temperatures soar, or for more efficient cooling use the ‘Eco’ mode, you can keep the contents cool overnight with significantly reduced noise using the ‘Night’ Plus mode, or finally you can switch the unit off and use cool packs much like you would a traditional cool box.
Campingaz research showed most cool boxes lose most of their temperature through the base and lid, to counteract this, the Powerbox Plus features increased amounts of high-quality, PU insulation in the lid and base and reduced insulation in the sides. This results in smaller exterior dimensions yet provides optimum interior capacity and high performance. The cooler also has a permanent anti-microbial lining which resists mould and mildew growth and blocks unpleasant odours from developing.
