The Cove is a ten acre gravel pit that offers fantastic carp fishing for anglers of all abilities in a beautifully landscaped environment. The lake and anglers are protected by an otter proof fence and locked gated access.

The lake has been stocked with around a thousand carp between 5-18lb and when the lake was separated from the main fishery a number of original fish were trapped within The Cove. The current lake record is 32lb but there are a number of fish in the lake that are over 30lbs.

The Cove is ideal for angling socials, tuition events, competitions, product testing and launch events and also offers a range of angling opportunities from margin fishing to longer range swims, we believe it will also be an excellent floater and zig water.

Angling is primarily from one bank only giving those fishing the scope to enjoy their water without conflict with other anglers on the far bank. To further enhance the angling experience we have limited the fishery to ten swims on ten acres.

The fishery is only available for full bookings. Our two bookings to date have resulted in nearly 200 fish being caught over each weekend by ten anglers the biggest being 32lb.

The fishery has secure access and parking, customers have their own lake and bankside for the weekend, totally separate from the rest of the fishery.

The lake has 11 purpose built fishing positions incorporating platforms to fish from, in a safe, clean and comfortable manner. Rod pods and stage stands are strongly recommended.

The swims have weighing points, landing nets, weigh slings, buckets and unhooking mats to minimise the transfer of fish pathogens. Anglers are not permitted to bring their own landing nets, weigh slings and unhooking mats on site.

Toilet facilities are provided for bookings.

There is a barbeque area and picnic benches available for use during sessions.
