Our 10 acre Big Lake is home to 400+ head of common and mirror carp up to 32lb with plenty of 20lb+ fish cruising around. We had a stocking of VS fish in 2015 to add some fresh blood to the lake. This makes it a popular venue with carpers and night anglers all year round. We added two new 30lb fish in November 2019 which are a great addition taking our head of 30’s to 6 at the right time of year.
Depths vary from 4 – 8ft, including gravel bars.
To fish the Big Lake, you can be any age bust must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
With newly built 30 bark chipped swims, most of which are big enough to accommodate multiple bivies which are ideal for socials. We have also created steps down in certain swims for when the water level is down which aids safer landing of fish for both angler and fish alike.
Night fishing is permitted on the Big Lake and sometimes the middle lake (please call to see if this is available), which is very popular during summer months.
