Underated and underfished no, over shadowed probably. Sandmartin for a long while in the shadow of our other waters. Its potential has been unlocked by our very own Steve Broad, looking for some water to himself. Some solitude and peace Steve targeted Sandmartin for much of his time last season. Not with standing alot of bait, Steve put together session after session of multiple catches with fish to 25lb plus. On the back of this other anglers with renewed application and purpose did like wise. Indeed toward the end of 2007 30lb fish were recorded. pic 1
A nice water to fish with some interesting features and depths, with sucessful session anglers opting to fish Sandmartin Lakes as their first choice.
